The Transitions Academy is designed to assist colleges and partnerships working on developing Bridge and ICAPS (Integrated Career and Academic Preparation System) programs by increasing awareness of the expanding partnership between Adult Education and Career and Technical Education as it relates to the ICAPS model, Accelerating Opportunity, Illinois Bridge programs, and Illinois Programs of Study. Learn How to Support Students Pursuing Nontaditional Occupations


The Illinois Center for Specialized Professional Support (ICSPS) is hosting the following webinars to assist colleges in better serving special population’s students, specifically those pursuing nontraditional occupations for their gender.

This webinar will be presented by the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE) and will focus on the NAPE’s Root Causes and Strategies document that reviews the research literature and highlights research-based strategies to increase student participation in nontraditional programs and pathways.
