The Forum for Excellence is Illinois’ premier Career and Technical Education (CTE) professional development event. In 2015 we are building on CTE’s expanding partnership with Adult Education (AE). The Forum is designed to highlight educational initiatives and effective practices selected by ICCB and serve as a launch to the year’s professional development delivered through the Regional Network.  This Conference is sponsored by the Illinois Community College Board, and hosted by the Illinois Center for Specialized Professional Support (ICSPS), the Southern Illinois Professional Development Center (SIPDC), and the Central Illinois Adult Education Service Center (CIAESC).

This year the Southern and Central Adult Education Conference will be held at the same time and place as the Forum for Excellence. This partnership will allow for all of us to be exposed to more sessions, more vendors, and to the individuals we need to work with to give our students the best opportunity for success. Be assured that you will still see many sessions specifically for the needs of adult education professionals as well as enhanced options for integrated instruction and partnerships. We hope to see you at the Forum this year as Career Technical and Adult Education partner to build pathways for ALL students.
